Places to visit
Hum, the smallest town in the world, is 46 km from Villa Marija Klara****. Today, Hum is one of the rarest preserved examples of urban development within the Early Middle Ages. The particularity of Hum is that, outside the city walls, almost nothing has been built since the XI century until today. Approximately rectangular shape about 100 meters in length and about 35 meters wide. According to the legend, Hum was created when the giants built cities in the valley of the river Mirna and from the remaining stones eventually built Hum. When you visit Hum and the nearby Glagolitic alley, you should definitely see Kotle, where Mirna river flows through with waterfalls and ancient watermills.
